Pocono Base is the 70th USSVI Base to be formed. Charter Received 15 Feb 2000. There are over 11,000 members nationally. The Pocono Base is a Boat Sponsor of the USS Hyman G. Rickover (SSN-795) and the USS Montana (SSN-794) We support the following Submarine Rescue & Restoration Projects: USS Drum (SS-228) — Battleship Memorial Park, Mobile, Alabama USS Batfish (SS-310) — Muskogee War Memorial Park, Muskogee, Oklahoma |
