21 Mar - Sunday St. Patrick's Parade - Stroudsburg. Step off Time 13:30. Sponsored by the Pocono Irish-American Club,  The parade lineup will be posted on their website prior to the parade.   
Our USS Barb Float,  a Gato class Submarine will participate in this parade.
17 Apr. - Saturday 2010 Holland Club Induction Luncheon, Noon to 1600 - Lambertville, NJ.

31 May - Monday Memorial Day Parade - Pocono Pines
Plans are to form up at Elementary School - 09:30; Step off is at 10:00.
Our USS Barb Float,  a Gato class Submarine will be brought to this parade.
Immediately following the parade and Memorial service, we will proceed to Lake Naomi to launch our base submarine. This is an all hands evolution which will include the launch into lake and transit with escort craft to a beach location where we will transfer the boat back onto our trailer for transport. At the conclusion of the Launch-Transit-Recovery operation we will proceed to the Legion for wet down and sustenance. Here's how it went down!

BASE MEETING AT LEGION PRECEDING THE CEREMONY   There will be chow.

We have secured a spot at the fair through the efforts of our COB .
We will be there with the Barb, and our fundraiser will be in full swing throughout this seven day event. (Our location at the Fair ).   Now we can plan to do our part. RAFFLE INFO HERE.

31 Aug - 5 Sept (Tue-Sun) 2010 USSVWWII-USSVI National Annual Convention
Hosted by Cincinnati Base - Cincinnati OH - Covington KY area   
11-12 Sept, (Sat-Sun) Belvidere Victorian Days. A 2 Day Show in the town square, Belvidere, NJ, off route 46.
Hours are 9AM - 5PM on Saturday, & 11:30AM - 5PM on Sunday.
It will feature crafts and antique cars , and a lot of traffic potential.
This is an opportunity to sell raffle tickets, as it precedes our drawing.
We will need a minimum of 4 hands for the set up and 4 hands at the end, as well as coverage throughout the 2 days.
If we can get commitments for our manpower requirements , we will go.

Our 2010 fund raising raffle will come to conclusion at this meeting, when the winner's name
will be drawn and announced.     Please be sure your tickets/proceeds are in.

16 Oct - Saturday USSVI Eastern Region North District 3 Meeting (formerly Districts 2 and 5 Joint).
To be convened at the Marine Corps League in Scranton - hosted by USS Scranton Base.
