Raffle tickets are still available for the “Mystic Weekend”
which the Pocono Base will be raffling off in September.
We are anticipating an October or early November weekend.

This is the Base’s first fund raising effort since our inaugural dinner dance in the year 2000.
We have been operating primarily with members dues, and these funds, raised for (but not
limited to) contributions to distressed Submarine families, charitable efforts ceremonial
engagements, publicity, our submarine/float construction and maintenance, and parades.

Thanks to our COB, Tom Shields, the base has been granted a space (click here)
at the West End Fair from 22 thru 28 August, 2010.
We are planning to sell as many books as possible at the Fair, and through table stands
at locations where possible throughout our area before, during, and after he fair.

There are 6 tickets to the book at $5.00 per book or $1.00 per ticket .

For this event to be a success, the participation of all hands is essential.
We would be grateful if each member, physically able,
would set aside some time to do a tour at the fair booth .
Raffle tickets at the fair will be sold from the booth account.

Entry passes to the Fair have been arranged, and will be given to those signed up for the fair booth.

Sign-up will also be available at our 18 August meeting.
Remember : There is no such thing as a "filled" tour. Select any tour(s) you want.
We encourage multiple shipmates on the various watches, and we do want to cover all tours.
