UNITED STATES SUBMARINE VETERANS INC, POCONO BASE
FLAG DISPOSAL PROGRAM

Once each year, the Wilson Fischer American Legion Post 413,
and United States Submarine Veterans Inc., Pocono Base,
dispose of  "retired" American Flags* in a joint ceremony.

The flags are rendered due accord in a formal procedure, in which they are respectfully incinerated.

Throughout the year, flags are collected in specially designated flag drop boxes,
which are appropriately marked, and used only for that purpose.

These flags are collected periodically, and held until that time when they will be properly destroyed.

The annually appointed day and location for this disposal of the flags is on Flag Day, June 14th, at
Wilson Fischer American Legion Post 413, Old Route 940, Pocono Pines , Pennsylvania.
The time of the event is posted on the Calendar/MeetingInfo page
Interested parties are welcome to attend the ceremony on Flag Day.
