BASE –USSVI-MEETING MINUTES
17 Aug 2005
Meeting called to order at 1923
at the American Legion Post 413, Pocono
Pines, PA by Commander Jeff
Owens. . A
moment of silence followed. Chaplain Vaughan
offered a prayer for our departed shipmates and asked a blessing on our
meeting, our organization and our country’s leaders. Members present
recited the Pledge of Allegiance.
Roll call: Members present
were: Frank McDevitt, Bob Vaughan, Jeff Owens, Bill Klose, Ed Barr,
Bill Hannon
Guests: None
Although a quorum was present it was decided to conduct an informal
meeting due to low attendance.
The Minutes: Secretary was
absent at prior meeting, and no minutes were taken in July.
Treasurer’s Report: Bill Klose
included in his report a balance of $3,127.20. Motion to accept
unanimous.
Committees Reports:
No committees had reports due to lack of attendance or business
to report.
Correspondence: None
Old Business:
Discussion was limited to arrangements for the Coolbaugh Fair.
New Business:
Not recorded.
Good of the Organization: Not
recorded
Collection for food which was pizza was $3 per man.
No 50/50 was held.
The meeting was adjourned.
